Below are missions that are supported through prayer, preaching, teaching or financially by Traverse City Christian Church.  These missions have been carefully chosen because we personally know the missionaries, their core beliefs and their adherence to the Bible's basic principles.

Traverse City Christian Church supports mission work as Jesus instructed in Matthew 28:19-20


H.O.P.E. Mission,
 Haiti

 


     
Jeff & Carol Badgero founded H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Prepare for Eternity) with specific goals in mind:

  • Teach them about Jesus so they can have hope
  • Give them Bibles so they can teach others
  • Teach them to read so they can read God's Word
  • Show them God's love so they can have joy and peace
  • Help their needs of food, clean drinking water and shelter

Matt and Shelby Honig and their family live in NW Siberia where they are working on a Bible translation for a reindeer herding people.  They are the first with PBT to enter this field, and are Project Facilitators for the new workers God is sending to work with other people groups in the area.

Asian Gospel Outreach





Asian Gospel Outreach exists to live Christ-like lives and provide leadership training to assist the local church  to grow and spread the Gospel. We model the concept of  the Priesthood of every believer by following the example of the simple servant-based life of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.


Asian Gospel Outreach provides a hostel for the education and leadership training of children from villages where quality and Christ center education is unavailable.  AGO leads children to Christ, and trains Children to be future evangelists.
